President Tinubu Approves N12bn Outstanding Payments for National Teams and Athletes

In a groundbreaking announcement, President Tinubu has given the green light for the release of N12 billion to cover outstanding payments for national sports teams and athletes.
This decision, which comes as a significant relief to the sports community, was confirmed by Sports Minister John Enoh.
The approved funds will address a range of financial obligations, including the long-overdue payments to the Super Eagles Coach, who is owed approximately $1.3 million.
The allocation will extend to the senior national team, as well as other national teams encompassing female and under-20 categories.
This move is poised to have a transformative impact on the morale and stability of the country's sports sector, marking a pivotal moment in the journey towards recognizing and rewarding the dedication of its sporting ambassadors. Follow PrudentJ2.Com
